Carmel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Although Carmel is enclosed, it is essentially missionary and active through contemplative prayer. Since these nuns live in Utah, which is predominantly Mormon, the Catholic diocese living in a spiritual desert needs the witness and support of the nuns' contemplative life. The nuns live joyfully their vocation of love, prayer and union with God to pray for priests and the salvation of souls.
