Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration of Our Lady of the Angels Monastery
As Poor Clares we are a pontifical order of Franciscan cloistered, contemplative nuns with solemn vows who observe papal enclosure, living in the spirit of Saint Francis and Saint Clare. The monasteries of the order are autonomous and are not affiliated with any male order. We are directly under the jurisdiction of the Holy See. Our apostolate is perpetual adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament with solemn exposition. We recite the entire Liturgy of the Hours each day in the monastery chapel, and wear the traditional full habit and headwear and are faithful to the Magisterium.
