Sisters of the Visitation of Philadelphia
The order was founded by St. Frances de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal to “give God daughters of prayer and souls so interior that they may be found worthy to serve His Divine Majesty.”
The Sisters strive to “Live + Jesus” while living the Gospel in accordance with the spirit of their founders:
“a spirit which seeks only God and tends continually to union with him”
“a spirit of profound humility toward God and of great gentleness toward the neighbor”
Because of St. Margaret Mary, the Sisters received the special mission of making the Sacred Heart known and loved.
